A doula is a trained professional who provides informational, emotional and physical support to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. Doulas do not provide medical care, but they can help women have a positive birth experience by offering comfort measures and advocacy.

I work in Aylmer, Ontario and surrounding area

I am fluent in English and Plautdietch. I know enough Spanish to get along...

If you want someone to

*translate for you at appointments/in hospital,

*give you information so you can make more informed choices,

*give you physical support and relief during labor,

*hear you and support YOUR choices,

*advocate for you at the hospital,

*help establish breastfeeding,

*help you through your postpartum period,

...then you want to hire a Doula for yourself:)

A birth plan is a written document that outlines your preferences and goals for childbirth. It can include things like pain management, interventions, and postpartum care. Your healthcare provider can help you create a birth plan that is right for you.
